Was reading through spokes post on how they met up.  Your teaming up was  quite incidental and I guess that is what makes it so exciting for you guys as you will discover so much about each other during the road trip.

As for us “Sepians”, Shruti was keen on applying for the winter edition last time but couldnt find a team and so this time round was determined to pull people. She teamed up with Shailee and that followed with Phani (he is a wonder with the cam). Where did I fit in? Randomly. Shruti and Shailee were scanning her Gtalk list for someone who would be interested..and it helps my name starts with an A coz they didnt scroll down further and asked if I would come aboard. I had heard of Grassroutes but was in the same dilemma where Shruti was last time- finding team mates. So it was a god send opportunity. It wasn’t all that random though..me and Shruti had done a B plan(which was the start and stop of my entreprenuerial ambitions) while Shailee and me come from Pune.

The name really was Shailee’s idea. The sepia effect- that is what we wanted to bring to grassroutes .. a new and different prospect.

Presently, Shruti and Phani are in Hyd and will be visiting a local NGO soon while I do the same in Pune. Shailee is in New Zealand and will be looking for opportunity for social work there ( though I guess it will be difficult..it seems to be a blessed country)
