Application deadline extended

Today was supposed to be the deadline for submitting applications for Grassroutes summer edition. Due to request of lot of teams, we are extending the deadline by another 3 days. So now the extended final deadline for submission would be 23rd April, 2009.

All the best with your applications, we hope the extra 72 hours would help you improve your applications.

Hello Organisers,
I am part of one of the teams which will be applying for your program and I am personally very disappointed with you guys extending the deadline , in your application you ask us to write 200 words essays on how we will maintain deadlines and get the job done and you here you contradict your own values.

There were a few teams who came across the Grassroutes program much later and needed couple of more days to wrap up their on-going campaigns and complete the application process. It would have gone against the spirit of Grassroutes to discourage them from doing so.
